Scholarship Information

The AES (Amador-El Dorado-Sacramento) Cattlewomen are offering a $1000 scholarship to graduating seniors to further the education of future leaders in the beef industry.

Scholarship Requirements

Applicant must complete the specific scholarship application provided by AES Cattlewomen which is available in each Career Center.

The student must be a graduating senior of an Amador, El Dorado or Sacramento County high school.

The applicant's current grade point average must be a minimum of 2.5 to be considered.

Applicant should be interested in pursuing a career associated with agriculture, education, etc. in the beef industry.

The applicant may be required to attend a personal interview.

Applicant should submit one letter of recommendation from a FFA leader, a 4-H leader, or from any Ag-related person who can address applicant's involvement with the beef industry (optional).

Additional Processing and School Specific Information

Applications should be sent to the scholarship chairman, Ginger Appleton, Scholarship Chairman, 27799 N. Dry Creek Road, Galt, CA 95632 no later than the due date above.

Scholarship award will be disbursed upon verification of enrollment in a minimum of 12 units at any accredited community college or four-year college or university.
