Scholarship Information

This scholarship is in memory of Allison Rush of Pinole, California. In her short 13 years, Allison made a lasting impact on family and friends. Allison loved every aspect of school (even homework) but never had the opportunity to experience high school or college. To honor Allison, one-time scholarships of $2,000 will be awarded to successful Ponderosa High School students aspiring to attend college. Additional scholarship money may be awarded based on student's progress in college.

Current transcript

Two letters of recommendation, only one of which can be from a faculty member

Essay of student's educational and career goals (500 words or less)

Student must have participated in extracurricular activities (sports, music, etc.) and/or held a job during high school

Student must have financial need

Attending 4 year college

3.0 GPA

Additional Processing and School Specific Information

Ponderosa students should return the completed scholarship application to the Career Center by the due date.
