Scholarship Information

American Postal Workers Union, in support of further education, annually offers seniors graduating from South Tahoe High School who are OFFSPRING of APWU members, the opportunity to apply for scholarships. General criteria is personal achievement, character, academics, and service record. The amount of the scholarship will be determined by GPA.

Scholarship Requirements

Students must attend an accredited vocational school, community college, or university the school year following high school graduation.

Additional Processing and School Specific Information

Please attach an essay of approximately 250 words (one page only) including: 1. your plans for your future/career, 2. your thoughts on citizenship or your role in your school or community, 3. your work experience or volunteer work, 4. any specific circumstances you may face (if any). Print your application and turn it in to STHS College & Career Center. Transcripts will be attached for you. (By turning in your application you are giving STHS permission to release transcript information.)
